Over, over, over…

….committed. So everything is a bit of a mess, and I can feel myself sliding into that vaguely depressed, dissasociated frame of mind that leads to me doing something really stupid and self destructive. Bleh, wishing away emotions.

  1. I don’t know if this will be helpful, but write out a schedule of all your commitments. It will make it all more concrete and hopefully you’ll realize that you can handle it.

  4. Lists really help for me. Also, scheduling in time to be with my partner, to be alone, to do something silly…even to eat. Structure is the best way I have found to deal with stress.

  6. This is truly marvellous. And by the way, hello Nayland. I saw some Sadeian puppets of yours ten years ago at (I think) the Newport Harbor Art Museum, and I’ve never forgotten them. I was tickled to see that you’ve got an LJ. Best of luck with your blizzard of tasks and committments.
