A full day – woke to spend time with D, enjoyed breakfast at Toomey’s and then made the trek into Manhattan for thornyc‘s birthday viewing of the Simpson’s Movie. While walking there through Soho, I got caught in a severe downppour. The rain eased by the later afternoon when we left the movie and adjourned to a nearby eatery for burgers and Happy Birthday sung over a melted brownie dessert.

Made it back home this evening in time to do a bit of home organizing. And now for a sprint through the final days of the sumer session.
