This might be the least representative picture of the opening I took all night, but when I saw it today it cracked me up so much I had to post it.

The opening was fun. Simple enough – sweaty, New York fun. I like a curatorial experience where it’s like Christmas: present after present arriving as the various participants brought in their contributions.

Fact is, it’s an meme show. And that’s kind of great. It’s great than Monya was game for it; not many gallery owners are willing to say “OK do what ever you want and I’ll hang it where ever it goes. And then compare notes with you on which guys are fuckable. And then dance to Michael Jackson at the bar.
