  1. Fella! What an amazing picture! Gimme some space at the foot of that bed! I need a gray day … .

Oh! If that were possible, I’d suggest we order out Chinese. What do you think?

  3. Look out! Behind you! Don’t… move. Sock monkeys only react to quick movements. Act like nothing’s happening, and you should be able to make it to the door without a scratch.

  5. I ended up making a a quasi-italian thing my mother used to make – the good thing about it is that it generates tons of left overs.

There’s plenty of space at the foot, as you can see….

  9. Never mind the sock menagerie – I have enough plush here to kill an asthmatic with their dust magnetitude. What I want are those damned light fixtures, something that would allow me to read in bed. The overhead light is decidedly unfriendly and does weird things with reflections in my bifocals – about the only thing here that is by, by the way.

  12. Re: What my TV sees

I’m a collector of many different things – I think the thing with the sock animals isthat I don’t really have any emotional relationship to them – I collect them more like butterflies than like pets.

  14. I read some of the comments after submitting mine, and only then did I realized they were sock animals, which are wholly different from stuffed animals. Not that there’s anything wrong with either one…
