The last two days have been eerily Bay Area like: Foggy and in the high 40’s. Christmas was joyous throughout. Saw “Capote” with Mom, Sis, and Dom and then ate Aruvedic Indian food for dinner. I received many thoughtful things. Between my friends and my family I’m far luckier than I deserve.
This is truly wonderful to read.
Driving along the RI and CT coast yesterday, I was struck with a similar environmental feeling. The peasoup offered odd comfort.
what sort of thing is “far luckier than I deserve” to say? why don’t you deserve to be surrounded by loving family and friends? of course you do! sheesh!
A few of us were speaking of that very thing on Saturday. We’ve had quite a bit of very thick fog over the last month. The thick grey is very comforting. Protective.
I hear horns all the time up here on the hill.
My mom gave me semi-perishable gifts for you and Lehigh. Let me know when I should bring them by.
Glad you enjoyed your holiday!
But, you deserve a lot more than you think.
Your mom is a generous kook! I’ll be home most of the evenings this week.
Thanks for your sheesh. I’ve been feeling so preoccupied lately that I don’t think I’ve been as generous as they have.
Hmmmm?
Are you talking about spankings?
I have another busy week ahead, so I may stop by tonight.
