Matt gathered us together for a delightful trip through the Botanical garden. Ostensibly we were there to treat our nostrils to the once in a lifetime stench of the flower depicted above. While our noses were spared, we were still able to take great pleasure in the sight of the massive bloom as well as each other’s company. I shot a lot of very corny plant pictures, and then had to bow out early to get to a meeting in Manhattan. Afterwards I walked downtown from 86th and Lexington to Canal and Broadway, a very pleasant amble indeed. The air has been so lovely these past three days that it has felt like real vacation time throughout.
Matt, thanks for putting this together.
