The guy in the beard is the poet Rob Fitterman. He asked me to read part of his new piece, which is a rewrite of The Sun Also Rises. We did so at KGB Bar on in the East Village.

It was a fun night, with a big turnout. I was surprised given a drizzly Monday, but the place was jammed. It’s been ages since I’ve done something like that, and it’s the kind of thing I used to participate in all the time in San Francisco. Talking to Rob about this made me totally want to take a new look at my performance scripts and get some new writing done.
